OWNERS MANUAL & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Welcome to the Overland Vehicle Systems Family! Thank you for purchasing the Bushveld Hardshell 

Roof Top Tent! Here at Overland Vehicle Systems, we strive to Inspire, Empower people to adventure. 

We do this while creating the highest quality Overlanding Gear on the market. We pride ourselves on 

being a company that only sells what we get out of ourselves.  Our RTTs are developed with the most 

durable materials that are 4-season ready! Everything from hardware to ripstop fabric has been looked 

at and tested, so there is no guessing on the trail. 

Here at Overland Vehicle Systems, we strive on having the 

shortest setup times for all of our RTTs.  Our Bushveld 

Hardshell tent is one of our easiest to install.  Fully assembled 

before transport, all a customer has to do is mount our tent to 

their rack, secure and fully display the tent.  We have provided 

all the hardware and accessories needed to enjoy this tent fully.

Please make sure when installing your tent that you follow 

all the installation instructions carefully to solidify proper 

installation on your vehicle. Before installation, please make 

sure to check with your vehicle’s manufacturer for load capacity 

ratings for your rack. Not all roof racks and/or aftermarket roof 

bars can accommodate specific tent models 

  

Be sure to check all packaging to make sure that all items 

listed present. Also, be sure to check for any damages; some 

shifting may have occurred during shipment. If so, please 

contact Overland Vehicle Systems.

THE TENT IS DESIGNED TO OPEN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE 

VEHICLE ONLY.

 Lift the tent onto your crossbars / Roof Rack, adjust accordingly. 

You may need several people to help out with this step.  

2 Insert the provided bolts into the bracket channel under the tent 

according the sizing of your cross bars.

 Have a friend lift the Bushveld while a second person slides the 

piece over the crossbar so that one bolt is on each side of the bar.
