5. AC Voltage detection: Place the detector

tip of the Voltage Detector near an AC

voltage. If the Voltage Detector detects

voltage within the defined detection

range, the green LED will turn off, the red

LED will turn on, and the beeper will beep

rapidly.

6. Low Battery Indication: Replace the

batteries if the green LED does not turn

on. When the Voltage Detector is on

and the batteries are too low for reliable

operation, the beeper will beep three

times and the green LED will turn off

indicating the Voltage Detector is not

operational. Replace the batteries to

restore operation.

7. Auto Power Off: To conserve battery life,

the Voltage Detector will automatically

turn off after approximately 5 minutes

of inactivity. When powering down, the

beeper will beep twice and the green LED

will turn off.

NOTE: If you press and hold the

button more 5 seconds, the Voltage

Detector regards this as error and it will

beep twice and then turn off.

CHANGING BATTERIES

1. Gently push down on locking tab.

2. While pushing down on tab,

slide cap off body.

3.  Insert batteries positive ends first

4.  Align locking tab with cap.

5.   Slide cap onto Voltage Detector body.

OPERATION

1. Turning the Voltage Detector On:

Momentarily press the   ON/OFF

button. The beeper will beep once and

the green LED will illuminate to indicate

that the Voltage Detector is on and ready

for use.

2. Turning the Voltage Detector Off:

Momentarily press the   ON/OFF button.

The Voltage Detector will beep twice and

the green LED will turn off.

3. Turning the Beeper Off: Disable the

beeper by holding the   ON/OFF

button down for more than two seconds

during power up. To enable the beeper

again, turn the Voltage Detector off and

then turn it on.

4. Verify Operation: Before using the

Voltage Detector, (1) Make sure the

green LED is glowing, (2) Check Voltage

Detector on a known live AC voltage that

is within the defined detection range of

the Voltage Detector.
