REPLACING THE FUSES

WARNING: To avoid electric shock, disconnect the test leads from any source of voltage

before removing the back cover.

1.  Disconnect the test leads from the Multimeter and any item under test.
2.  Open the back cover by loosening the screws on the back cover using a Phillips head

screwdriver.

3.  Remove the old fuse from its holder by gently pulling it out.
4.  Install the new fuse into the holder.
5.  Always use a fuse of the proper size and value (0.2A/250V fast blow for the 200mA range,

20A/250V fast blow for the 10A range).

6.  Put the back cover on. Insert the screws and tighten them securely.

WARNING: To avoid electric shock, do not operate your Multimeter until the back cover

is in place and fastened securely.
