Blade replacement
Unplug your biscuit joiner
after extended use, the blade on your biscuit joiner may become dull and
need replacing. if you accidentally hit a nail or other blunt object, it will break
the carbide tips on the blade. these situations also require replacement of the
blade.
Replacement Blade ACBJ-0001 can be ordered throught the Special Orders Desk at
any Bunnings store.
How to replace the Blade
Place your biscuit joiner upside down on a work bench.

Loosen four phillips head screws by rotating anti-

clockwise and remove the base (3) to gain access to
the blade. (Fig. 20)
Depress the spindle lock (11).

Using the pin spanner supplied, undo locking flange

by turning pin spanner counter clockwise (right hand
thread). (Fig. 21)

Spindle lock
caution: never use the spindle lock while the machine is
running.
caution: never use the spindle lock to stop the motor.
The spindle lock(11) (Fig. 19) is located on top of the gearbox
casing. The purpose of the spindle lock(11) is to prevent the
blade from turning to enable easy blade removal.
