Variable Speed Dial
A variable speed dial is linked into the switch. The speed of the tool can be
regulated by adjusting this dial. After a speed has been selected the switch will be
regulated to that speed until you readjust the dial.
Cutting Procedure
Press the adjusting shoe firmly against the work piece. Do not allow the tool to
bounce. Bring the blade into light contact with the work piece. First, make a pilot
groove, using a slower speed. Then use a faster speed to continue cutting.
When cutting metal always use a suitable coolant (cutting oil). Failure to do so
could cause premature blade wear.
During operation always press the shoe firmly against
the work piece. If the shoe is held away from the work
piece during operation, strong vibration and/or twisting
may occur, causing the blade to snap dangerously (fig. 2).
To achieve a secure hold of the saw during operation
always use both the ribbed rubber boot and the
operating handle at the same time.
