Data Logging Operation and Settings:
The C16 logs or records time stamped, gas concentration readings in time intervals of 1,
5, 10, or 15 minutes. The logged reading range from 0 to the full range of the sensor, therefore,
it is important to ensure that the correct sensor is used for the situation. The device displays the
amount of time remaining for logged data which is dependent on the interval chosen and also
provides an option to clear the memory. The following steps and information will provide you with
the information needed to start data logging.

The data logging software can be installed from the CD labeled, “PortaSens II Datalog”,
which is supplied with the device. The software can also be downloaded from the ATI website:
http://www.analyticaltechnology.com
(Mouse over Gas Detection and click on C16 Portable Gas Leak Detector, then click on the red
link labeled “Click Here to Download the Datalog Software for Win7 32/64 Bit)
Installation:
Disk:
Insert disk in CD drive slot. Click “Run Setup.exe” in the windows that appears.
Download:
Click Open in the download manager form when it appears (or click Save to the save
the program to be installed at a later time). After download has completed, double click on
“setup.exe” as pictured below. Once the software has fully installed, the data logging can begin.
