ATTENTION: before you start, verify that the gas cable is not blocked. To verify this a few gas actions are
sufficient.
When starting and accelerating it is very important not letting the engine get too many RPM as it can push
you too the sides. Do not forget to use the security tape of the cover to block the propeller.
When receiving your paramotor with the
THOR80 engine you will have to reinstall the
small water bottle on its corresponding support.
If the engine has been send by plane you will
receive it without the cooling liquid and you will
have to fill it with aluminum radiator liquid which
can be found in gas stations and motorbike
shops.
The amount is approximately 500 ml.
You will have to fill until half the small bottle
which is on top the radiator.
While filling we will have to get rid of the air
which is in the circuit by blocking the high hole
and pressing the tube which is connected to the
cylinder pump.(fig1) We will have to repeat this
process until there is no more air in the circuit.
If the gasoline circuit is empty we will notice this
right away because the knob (fig. 2) offers little
resistance and therefore we will have to pump
up the gasoline until the knob hardens. If we pay
attention we can hear the gasoline reach the
carburetor and as so the gasoline circuit filled.
Once checked that it is full we press the knob on
the carburetor
(1)
and at the same time we will
press just a few millimeters the manual pump
(2)
and as a result the flow of enough necessary
fuel will fill the carburetor.
If we priming the engine too much, this will
drown the engine and it will have difficulties
too start and having to give several pulls on
the starter rope. It can be necessary to give full
throttle during the first pull of the starter rope
using always the security tape that you have on
the propeller cover.
No action on the supply of fuel is needed.
It is not necessary to use the throttle.
