Maintenance
•
Check the oil level every time before starting the engine and refill if necessary.
•
Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation. Then once per year,
or after 25 hours of operation.
•
Clean the air filter is cleaned with compressed air as required.
•
Check the machine for loose screws and bolts before each start-up. Retighten if
necessary.
•
Clean the brush cutter after each use. Never clean with a pressure washer.
•
Lubricate the ends of the various cables with oil.
The bottom plug of the engine is located
below the cutting shield.
Storage
Before storing the machine for longer periods, follow the procedure below:
•
Clean the brush cutter and spray the metal parts of the machine with a thin
layer of rustproofing oil.
•
Drain the petrol from the fuel tank and carburettor.
•
Remove the spark plug and pour approx. one tablespoon of engine oil into the
engine through the spark plug hole. Pull the recoil starter several times to
distribute the oil. Replace the spark plug.
•
The machine must be stored indoors in a dry, ventilated room.
