Using the pulley with hook
The electric hoist is supplied with a pulley with hook, which is used to lift with double
wires – this doubles the electric hoist’s lifting power and is stated as the electrical
hoist’s maximum lifting capacity. The pulley with hook must be assembled and
tightened and the lifting hook must be fitted in the hole in the side of the electrical
hoist.
Preparing for use and operation
Remove the protective plastic foil from the wire reel before using the electric hoist for
the first time. Check that the wire is securely fitted in the reel and is correctly wound.
Next, check that the emergency stop switch is in the correct position (it must be
released – turn the button clockwise). Use the raise/lower switch to raise (arrow up) or
lower (arrow down). NB: The electrical hoist is equipped with a stop fitting that
automatically stops the retraction of the wire when the stop hits the bracket. When
unwinding the wire the reel will stop when there is approximately two revolutions of
wire remaining on the reel.
