Operation
1.
As the engine warms up, open the choke valve (Fig. 8).
2.
Move the throttle from LOW to HIGH. When the engine
speed reaches 2300–2600 rpm, engage the centrifugal
clutch If the engine speed increases very slowly it is
possible that the clutch is slipping – therefore replace
relatively quickly (Fig. 9 and Fig. 10).
ATTENTION
If the engine stops and cannot be restarted, check the engine oil level.

If compacting asphalt, it is advised that the underside of the plate compactor is
lubricated with diesel oil – this will help to prevent the plate from becoming stuck in
the asphalt.
4.
To switch off the plate compactor, move the throttle from HIGH to LOW. Do not move
the throttle too slowly.
