Safety instructions
Read and understand the user manual before using the generator.
The generator must not be started or stopped when it is connected to electrical
equipment that is switched on. Start the engine, let it run for a couple of minutes and
then connect the electrical equipment. If the engine is to be stopped, disconnect the
electrical equipment. Next, allow the engine to run for a couple of minutes, before
stopping the engine.
It is recommended that voltage-sensitive electronic equipment is not connected to the
generator.
WARNING!
•
The generator must not be exposed to rain and moisture – there is an electric
shock hazard.
•
Ensure that there is safe and adequate ventilation to remove exhaust fumes –
exhaust fumes are toxic.
•
Petrol is flammable and toxic – keep away from naked flames and sparks, avoid
contact with skin/eyes, avoid inhalation of fumes and do not swallow.
•
The engine and exhaust gases can be hot – exercise caution!
•
The generator must be placed at least 1 m from buildings and other equipment –
otherwise the equipment may overheat.
•
Do not exceed the generator’s maximum capacity.
•

electrical shock.
The regulations relating to the installation of an earth connection can vary depending
on location. Contact an authorised electrician in the local area to obtain the precise
