If the engine is cold, close the choke. If the engine is warm, open the choke.
3.
Set the throttle lever slow (SLOW), about 1/3 towards fast (FAST).

Switch on engine by turning the switch to
the ON position.
5.
Use the handle for the recoil starter:
Lightly pull the handle until resistance is felt,
then pull hard on the cord and then let it gently return to the starting position.
