Improper use of the equipment
Improper use may cause death and serious injury.
•
Always use suitable gloves, eye protection and respiratory
protective equipment when painting.
•
Always keep children away from the equipment, including when
the equipment is being operated.
•
Make sure you have a good working position and stand on a
stable surface. Always make sure you have a good foothold and
good balance.
•
Stay focused on the task and do not use the equipment if you
are tired or have consumed alcohol or drugs.
•
Never kink/bend the hose and do not expose the hose to
temperatures or pressures that exceed the specifications.
•
Do not use the hose to pull or lift the equipment.
•
Do not use a hose shorter than 7.62 metres.
•
Never modify the equipment in any way. Doing so will void the approvals and create a
safety risk.
•
Make sure the equipment has been approved for the environment in which it will be
used.
Risk of electric shock
The equipment must have a good earth connection. Insufficient earth
connection, incorrect setup and improper use may cause electric shock.
•
Switch off the equipment and remove the plug from the outlet before
servicing the equipment.
•
Only use earthed power outlets.
•
Use only 3-wired extension cables.
•
Check that earth connectors on the power and extension cables are
intact.
•
Do not expose the equipment to rain. Store the equipment indoors.
Risk of aluminium under pressure
Using liquids which are incompatible with aluminium in pressure
equipment can cause a serious chemical reaction and destruction of
the equipment. Failure to comply with this warning could result in
death, personal injury and damage to property.
