Cleaning a clogged nozzle
If it becomes necessary to clean particles or dirt from the nozzle, the spray gun is
fitted with a reversible nozzle which quickly and easily removes the blockage without
having to disassemble the gun. See the section on “straining paint” on page 11 for
more information.
1.
Engage the locking pin and turn the nozzle to the Clean position. Release the trigger
and release the gun down into a waste container to clean the nozzle.
Note: If the nozzle is difficult to turn when in the clean position, carry out the
procedure for pressure relief and set the Prime/Spray valve to SPRAY and repeat
step 1.
2.
Engage the locking pin and turn the nozzle back to the spray position. Release the
locking pin and continue to spray.
