Information
Selecting a nozzle
The paint sprayer station is supplied with a nozzle which is suitable for most tasks. If
you need a different nozzle, you can find one in the chart on the next page.
Tips:
•
Over time, the nozzle will become worn and the hole will get bigger. Always start with a
smaller nozzle – this will allow you to spray for a long time before the equipment's
max. flow rate is exceeded.
•
Use nozzles with larger holes for thicker materials and nozzles with smaller holes for
thinner materials.
•
When the nozzle is worn, replace it.
•
The nozzle hole controls the flow – the amount of material that comes out of the gun.
Spray range width
The spray range width is the width of the spray pattern, which determines how large
an area will be covered in each stroke.
Tips:
•
Select a range width to suit the surface to be sprayed.
•
A wide range will suit wide, open surfaces.
•
A narrower range gives better control over smaller, limited surfaces.
Nozzle number
The last 3 figures in the nozzle number contain information about the nozzle hole size
and range width on a surface when the gun is held 30.5 cm from the surface to be
painted.
