Nozzles for the paint sprayer station
Cleaning fluid
Oil-based or water-based paint
•
If you are using water-based paint, you must use water to clean the system.
•
If you are using oil-based paint, you must use white spirit or a similar oil-based
cleaning fluid.
•
If you need to spray with a water-based material after having sprayed with an oil-
based material, the system must first be flushed thoroughly with water. The water
coming out of the return hose must be completely clear and not contain any solvent
residue before you start to spray with the water-based material.
•
If you need to spray with an oil-based material after having sprayed with a water-
based material, the system must first be flushed thoroughly with white spirit or a
similar oil-based cleaning fluid. The liquid flushed out of the return hose must not
contain water. When flushing with an oil-based cleaning fluid, always follow the
instructions regarding earth connections (for oil-based materials). See the next section.
•
To prevent the cleaning fluid spraying up on your skin or in your eyes, always aim the
gun towards the inner sides of the bucket.
