Fitting the backhoe arm
1.
Connect first the snap coupling on the intake hose and the return hose to the tractor’s
hydraulic return connection. Use the P port for the intake and the T port for the return
flow. If the connection is wrong it will cause damage to the control valve.
2.
Activate the operating handle small and adjust the backhoe to the position shown in
the above image. Ensure that the bottom spring rod is approximately 400 mm from
the ground.
3.
Reverse the tractor towards the backhoe. Adjust the height of the tractor’s hitch. First
install the bottom pin and then install the top pin.
Disconnecting the backhoe
EXERCISE CAUTION – The backhoe must be disconnected on flat and secure ground.
Use lifting gear. Do not permit people in the area. Exercise extreme caution when
disconnecting the backhoe. Hydraulic oil is harmful to skin and eyes. If necessary,
wash your skin and seek medical attention.
1.
Move the tractor to the site where the backhoe shall be stored.
2.
Use the interior levers to lower the support legs until they are in contact with the
ground. Use the hydraulic levers to fully raise the boom and backhoe.
3.
Centre the boom and lock the swingarm securely with the pin.
4.
Using the levers, position the backhoe arm vertically and turn the bucket until the
bottom faces the ground. Now lower the boom until the bucket’s base rests on the
ground.
5.
Remove the pins that hold the backhoe and the tractor’s mounting fitting.
