User Instructions
Before using the backhoe arm try to raise it completely, lower the boom etc. a couple
of times. Raise the bucket above the ground a couple of times and operate the
bucket’s cylinders a few times. Lower the bucket to the ground.
Check that there is sufficient hydraulic oil.
EXERCISE CAUTION – Before leaving the machine, stop the engine and remove the
ignition key, put all of the operating levers into neutral and activate the handbrake.
Always keep the cylinders in the retracted position when the backhoe arm is not be
used in order to protect them against rust or soiling which can damage the cylinder
pistons or the hydraulic system. Always lock the swingarm boom when transporting
or storing for longer periods of time.
Operation in cold weather:
Always allow the tractor to warm up when operating in cold weather. Operate all of
the cylinders slowly a few times to warm up the oil in the hydraulic system. The
backhoe arm may operate unevenly until the hydraulic oil has warmed up to the
operating temperature.
