Pay attention to the safety symbol
The safety symbol indicates potential safety hazards and
extra precautions must be taken. When this symbol is
encountered, exercise caution and read the information
that follows. A product’s safety depends on its design
and configuration and on the user paying special
attention and exercising care when operating,
transporting, carrying out maintenance and storing the
equipment.
Please be aware of the signal words
The signal word indicates the degree of danger. The signal words are:
HAZARD
Indicates a very dangerous situation which, if not prevented, could cause death or
severe injury. This signal word is used only in the most extreme situations – typically
with machine parts that cannot be covered in order to operate properly.
WARNING
Indicates a potentially dangerous situation which, if not prevented, could cause death
or severe injury and includes dangers that arise when shields/guards are removed. It
can also be used to warn of hazardous procedures.
EXERCISE CAUTION!
Used to warn of potentially hazardous situations which, if not prevented, could cause
minor or moderate damage or injury. It can also be used to warn of hazardous
procedures.
Switching off and storing the equipment
•
Lower the flail mower to the ground, put the tractor into parking with the handbrake
engaged, switch off the engine and remove the ignition key.

Remove and store the equipment in a place that is out of the reach of children. The
equipment must be made safe using chocks and supports.
