Description:
Flail mower for 3-point hitch, cat. 1. Minimum power requirement of
only 20 HP. Supplied with PTO shaft (max. 540 rpm). Supplied unassembled.
Applications:
For topping of road verges, grass around fences, paddocks, wild paths
and forest roads.
Intended use:
The flail mower may only be used as described in the user manual. All
other use is deemed incorrect.
BEFORE STARTING TO USE THE FLAIL MOWER
Fill the flail mower with oil before putting it into operation.
Inspect the following before putting the flail mower into operation:
Check the oil level in the right-angle gear unit and replenish if necessary.
Carefully check the tightness of all bolts, nuts and screws, and tighten if necessary.
Check that the V-belts are correctly tensioned.
Lubricate all flail mower grease nipples.
MAINTENANCE
Perform the following maintenance tasks after the first hour of operation:
Tighten bolts on the roller’s bearing housing.
Tighten the bolts on the pulleys.
Adjust the tension of the V-belts.
Lubricate all flail mower grease nipples.
