Safety instructions
Read the user manual thoroughly and ensure that you have understood all of the
instructions before taking the machine into use. Read all of the safety labels; the
instructions must be followed at all times.
Only persons who have read and understood the user manual and have undergone
basic thorough training in how to use the flail mower correctly and safely may operate
the flail mower.
•
The user must be completely familiar with all of the flail mower’s operating elements.
•
The flail mower may only be operated from the tractor's driver’s seat.
•
Make sure that all guards and safety devices are correctly and safely in place before
taking the flail mower into operation.
•
Never leave the tractor or flail mower unattended while the engine is running.
•
Dismounting from the tractor while it is moving can cause severe injury or death.
•
Do not stand between the tractor and the flail mower while these are being connected.
•
Keep hands, feet and clothing away from moving parts.
•
Wear tight-fitting clothing. Loose clothing can get caught in moving parts and cause
injury.
•
Pay attention to cables, trees, etc. when raising the flail mower. Make sure that no one
is situated in the working area.
•
Turning much too sharply may cause the equipment to hit the wheels. This can cause
injury and damage the equipment.
