Safety instructions
1.
Avoid landslides and fallen stone.
2.
Avoid colliding into something with the equipment.
3.
Avoid the bucket hitting other vehicles or raising the loaded bucket above the cabs of
other vehicles or above people.
4.
Avoid the excavator sinking into soft ground or in wet areas.
5.
Avoid driving over obstacles such as large stones.
6.
It is not permitted to work in water that is so deep that the engine is under water.
7.
When loading or unloading large stones, exercise caution to ensure they are not
dropped.
8.
In cold environments, the machine must be parked on solid ground to avoid the tracks
from freezing. Remove all foreign objects from the tracks and their frames. If a track is
frozen to the ground, use the boom to lift the track and carefully move the machine,
ensuring the track roller and track do not become damaged.
9.
Before setting the machine in motion, the operator must check that the direction of
travel matches the lever positions.
10.
When moving the machine over longer distances, ensure that you take a five minute
break every twenty minutes to avoid the engine from becoming damaged.
11.
Never move the machine on an incline that is greater than 15
o
otherwise there is a risk
that the machine will topple over.
12.
Avoid accidents when reversing or turning.
13.
Never dig the ground beneath the machine.
14.
Avoid cave-ins: Never drive on high embankments or slopes since the machine can fall
or slide down which may result in a serious accident.
15.
Pay attention to underground utility lines: The sudden cutting into an underground
power cable or gas pipe can lead to an explosion, fire and personal injury,
16.
Pay attention to overhead structures, e.g. bridges: If tools or other parts collide with
bridges or some other structure this can result in personal injury. Therefore, exercise
caution and prevent the boom or arm from colliding with overhead structures.
17.
Keep to a safe distance from overhead electrical cables. Keep to a safe distance of at
least 6 m from power cables. Comply with the applicable local laws and regulations. An
electrical shock hazard can extend further in wet areas. Therefore keep to a safe
distance from any electrical installations.
18.
The machine must be stored in a location that is inaccessible to children and
unauthorised people. Never leave an operating machine unattended. Never leave the
machine without removing the key from the ignition lock.
