Drive belt replacement
1.
Remove the belt guard from the front of the engine by removing the two self-tapping
screws. See Figure 20. NB: Empty the petrol from the snow thrower.
2.
Gently tilt the snow thrower up and forward so that it rests on the auger housing.
Remove the cover from the underside of the snow thrower by removing the four self-
tapping screws that secure it. See Figure 21.
3.
a. Grab the pulley and turn it to the right.
b. Roll the belt off the engine pulley.
c. Lift the belt off the engine pulley. See Figure 22.
4.
Slide the belt off the pulley and between the friction wheel and friction wheel pulley.
See Figure 23.
5.
Refit the belt in reverse order.
