Engine speed
WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death, do NOT make alterations of any kind.
Tampering with the throttle setting may cause the engine and equipment to run at
unsafe speeds. NEVER change the factory settings of the engine. It is dangerous to run
the engine faster than the factory set speed.
Control cable adjustment
After long periods of use, or when the belts are adjusted or
replaced, the control cables should also be adjusted, see
Figure 32.
1.
Lift the snow thrower forward and let it rest on the auger
housing.
2.
Push the cable through the spring so that the threaded part is exposed.
3.
Hold the threaded part and adjust the nut until the correct setting is obtained.
4.
Pull the cable through the spring again. Insert the cable into the upper part of the
clutch lever with the same adjustment on both sides.
