Safety instructions
Read and understand the instructions in this manual before putting the flail mower
into operation. Also, read the safety labels on the mower (also found in the manual).
Do not let anyone use the mower until they have thoroughly read the manual and
familiarised themselves with the mower’s functions, safety instructions, etc.
•
The user must be thoroughly familiar will all equipment functions.
•
The flail mower is operated from the tractor’s driver’s seat.
•
Make sure that all shields and guards are correctly and safely in place before putting
the flail mower into operation.
•
Do not leave the tractor or the flail mower unattended while the engine is running.
•
If the flail mower is disconnected from the tractor while it is moving can cause severe
personal injury or death.
•
Do not stand between the tractor and the flail mower while these are being connected.
•
Keep hands, feet and clothing away from the motorised components.
•
Wear tight-fitting clothing. Loose clothing can get caught in moving parts and cause
personal injury.
•
Keep an eye on cables, trees, etc., when raising the flail mower. Make sure that no one
is situated in the working area.
•
Turning too sharply with the tractor can cause the flail mower to bump into the
wheels. This can cause personal injury and damage the equipment.
