Troubleshooting
1.
Always follow the procedure for pressure relief before carrying out any inspection or
repair.
2.
The solutions in the chart are listed so that the most common errors appear first.
3.
Always refer to the troubleshooting chart before taking the equipment to an
authorised workshop.
Problem
Cause
Solution
Motor is not running:
(First check that the cable is
plugged in and that the
ON/OFF switch is ON).
Pressure control is set to 0.
Turn the control switch
clockwise to increase the
pressure setting.
There is no power in the
switch.
Check the switch with
equipment that you are sure
is working.
Check the circuit breaker –
replace the fuse if necessary.
Find a switch that works.
The extension cable is faulty. Replace if necessary.
The sprayer's electrical cable
is faulty.
Check the insulation is intact.
Replace cable if necessary.
The pump is broken
(possibly due to paint
solidifying or freezing).
Set the ON/OFF switch to
OFF and unplug.
Do not attempt to start the
equipment until you are sure
the equipment has
COMPLETELY thawed – the
equipment may suffer
serious damage.
