Installation of the shielding gas
When using MIG (solid) wire, shielding gas must be used.
1)
Changing polarity: The equipment is factory-set for welding with flux wire (no
shielding gas required). In this setting the cable for the welding gun is
connected to the ”-” (negative) pole and the earth cable is connected to the “+”
(positive) pole. With MIG welding using shielding gas, the cable for the welding
gun must be connected to the “+” (positive) pole and the earth cable connected
to the “-” (negative) pole. See the illustration.

Connection of the gas hose, regulator and gas cylinder:
Connect one end of the gas hose to the magnetic valve (gas input), which sits on
the apparatus’s rear panel. Connect the other end to the gas regulator which is
on the gas cylinder. See the illustration.
