General safety instructions

For connection to 230 V only.
•
The plug must have an earth connection.
•
Never attempt to lift loads that are greater than the maximum permitted load of the
electric hoist.
•
Power must not be disconnected when lifting.
•
Remove the plug from the socket after use.
•
Keep children and unauthorised persons at a safe distance.
•
Avoid swinging loads from side to side.
•
Never stand under suspended loads.
•
Never use the electric hoist to lift/transport people or animals.
•
Maintain attention and focus on the task – pay attention to the load when hoisting it.
•
Never leave a load hoisted in the electric hoist.
•
Never use the electric hoist if there are visible defects in the cable, wire, etc.
General use of the electric hoist
The electric hoist is designed to hoist materials and must only be operated by persons
who have read this user manual or who have been trained in the operation of the
electric hoist. Any person who operates the electric hoist must be familiar with the
safety instructions.
The electrical hoist is equipped with a pulley with hook, stop fitting (for wire in/out),
overload protection and an emergency stop switch. The electric hoist has an expected
lifetime of approximately 8000 lifts and is not intended for professional use. It may
not be used to lift melted goods and may not be used in temperatures below 0° C or
in aggressive environments where wires and/or electrical connections may be subject
to corrosion hazards.
