If the machine must be stored for more than 30 days, it is recommended that the
following procedure is followed:
1.
Replace the engine oil while the engine is still warm.
2.
Clean the machine on the outside.
3.
Empty the petrol tank – use an approved container.
4.
Remove the spark plug and put 5 ml oil in the hole.
5.
Slowly pull the recoil starter 8–10 times to distribute the oil in the cylinder. Replace the
spark plug and tighten securely. Excess oil will generate smoke on re-start.
6.
The machine can be stored in different positions. Positions where the spark plug faces
up the way are not advised.
Remember to fill the petrol tank with fresh petrol when the machine shall be
used again after storage!
Transport
Transport the machine without petrol in the tank, alternatively with the fuel cock
closed.
Disposal
The machine and its parts and packaging must be disposed of properly, cf. applicable
local guidelines.
