NOTE
Depending on the vehicle’s fuel system configuration, the fuel filter housing may not completely drain of fuel. If this is the case, take
care when installing the new filter as this may cause fuel to spill from the filter housing.

If available, using a vacuum pump, apply vacuum to the engine's fuel return port for 7 minutes, then reconnect the
return line.
NOTE
Do not operate the engine with a vacuum pump attached or with the return line disconnected. Injector damage could occur.
