21. Press the
TIP SET
Key. Notice that the system has
retained the stored Set Tip Temperature in memory.
Immediately press the
TIP SET
Key once again to
exit
TIP SET
Mode.
22. In order to prevent a handpiece/tip combination from
inadvertently operating at an incorrect Tip
Temperature, a safety feature incorporated within the
system will prevent retention of a stored TIP
OFFSET CONSTANT if a handpiece is disconnected.
The TIP OFFSET CONSTANT will return to the
default value of “3” for °C (“6” for °F). Disconnect the
handpiece connected to the Current Channel.
Reconnect the handpiece to the same channel.
Notice that the Current Channel changes to the next
Active Channel.
23. Press the
CH SELECT
Key, as necessary, to
change the Current Channel to the channel
disconnected in step #22.
