5. Remove two screws which hold the back ledge (Figure 52) in place and remove.
6. Remove the approximately 25 screws hold the base plate (Figure 53) to the frame of the firebox.
7. Gently remove the base plate (Figure 54) and set aside to the right hand side of the firebox.
There is no need to disconnect any of the electrical or gas fittings.
