4. Disconnect the touchpad connector and remove the flat cable (same principle as described in

).

Removing the Touchpad
To remove the touchpad, first remove the top cover (see
Removing the Top Cover
), then perform the
following steps:
1. Remove the screws securing the touchpad to the top cover.
