See the illustrations at the beginning of this guide for setup instructions.
If your computer has been stored or transported in a cold or damp environment, allow it to warm
to room temperature before turning it on.
1. Insert the battery.
2. Connect the AC Adapter.
Allow the battery to fully charge (you may continue to use your computer while it charges):
Charging: LED = On
Charged: LED = Off
3. Carefully open the LCD panel.
4. Briefly press the power button to turn on your computer. Wait until the Welcome to Microsoft Win-
dows screen is displayed, then follow the instructions on screen.
5. Once Windows has been configured, use the Setup my PC application to perform essential actions and
install recommended programs from Packard Bell.
