Setting the IP Continued - Direct Connection to PC
Go back to the server list and click the icon that looks like a cog (pictured below).
The unit’s password will be requested at this stage. The default is “hypergateway”.
Submit and you will be taken to the “HGS Setup Parameters Screen” (pictured below).
1.
Enter the local DNS server(s) IP address if Known and click “set”

If required, enter the date
and time and click “set”

Click “change” adjacent to
“IP Configuration”. Enter
the new IP details required
for your LAN. If using a
public IP without NAT,
then this will be the public
address etc. Click
“update”. The IP address
will update taking 10
seconds. When complete close the window. The gateway is now ready to connect
to the LAN. Connect it up and go back to the server list and re-add or edit the
existing default unit to use the new IP address.
The gateway should now be accessible from any computer on the LAN with the admin
software installed.
Remote access (if required) will still require setting up which is covered on page 7.
