4- What is the RSB-KIT and what are the advantages of purchasing the product this way?
- The RSB-Kit comprises of the RT-50V router/security application, the Pakedge SW8-GBV 8-Port Gigabit
VLAN switch and all a rack mount hardware to install both products into a AV rack. The kit contains
everything an installer needs to quickly install and configure a powerful VLAN based enterprise network into
any home.
5- Do I need to purchase antivirus for my router to work?
- The router will work without an anti-virus subscription, however the router will not be used to its design
potential and malware could potentially penetrate the perimeter into your network. With a subscription, the
router will automatically receive the latest virus definitions for full perimeter network protection for as long as
the subscription is active.
6- Can I only purchase antivirus without Fortinet support?
- No, support is automatically included from Fortinet when antivirus is purchased.
7- What is 8x5 support?
- This is support only by email - No phone. Email are only answered from 8am to 5pm, PST.
8- Can I plug more than one SW8-GBV into the RT-50V?
- Yes, the RT-50V can handle up to three SW8-GBV
