S8Mpdp Quick Start Guide

QoS Configuration

The S8Mpdp is preconfigured with QoS out of the box but you can alter the QoS configuration to the needs of

your network. To adjust the QoS settings

you will need to log into the GUI using the steps mentioned earlier.

Navigate to Configuration->Quality of Service and set the QoS Mode to 802.1p and the prioritize Traffic to
custom.

Then you will need to telnet into the switch. To telnet into the switch open a command prompt on your

computer and enter telnet

IP address of switch
