On the Wireless Interface Configuration – Update page, you can change the Channel, RF Band,
and Channel Width. You can also change the power level for the access point; use the field next
to Transmit Power High. The maximum transmit power settings are:
802.11a: 17 dbm
802.11b/g: 27 dbm
When you are finished configuring this page, click OK to return to the Wireless Interface
Configuration page. Select the next AP and change the settings to match the AP you just
configured. Repeat the process for each AP.
5.7 Modifying VLAN Configuration
This product was preconfigured to work with the Pakedge RSB-KIT and RSB-K24C (router
and VLAN switch combination), out of the box. If you have made any changes to settings
in the VLANs in the RSB-KIT/RSB-K24C, you will need to change them on the CTL-W5N as
well.
To begin changing a VLAN, you must first remove it from any ESS profiles that it is currently
being used in. In the left menu bar, click Configuration | Wireless | ESS. Select the red arrow
next to the VLAN you want to change. For this example, we will use VLAN 2.
On the ESS Profile – Update page, change VLAN Name to any of the other available options. This
is a temporary change that you will need to change back later, when you are ready to resume
using that VLAN.
