9.6 OPERATION IN COMBINATION WITH A STORAGE TANK
For operation in combination with a storage tank, the installer will have set configuration 3 or 4, depending on
whether the storage tank is with or without a coil inside.
The boiler is controlled based on the temperature read by the probe in the storage tank.
When rea
ching the storage tank temperature set in the temperature menu
the boiler switches off, and
switches on again if the temperature falls below the delta set in submenu
[8]
of the setup menu
.
The frost protection function can also be set in this configuration.
OPERATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE "EVERSPRING" SYSTEM
Before using the product in combination with the "Everspring" system, read all the documentation supplied
with the system and ensure having received adequate instructions from the installer on operation of this
system and of any cooling units present.
When the stove is connected to the Everspring system, it must be set in configuration 5.
In this configuration, it can be switched on/off manually or in scheduled mode.
The stove can operate in winter mode (default) or in summer mode, if the Everspring system also includes a
cooling unit.
Via the ventilation menu
, the user can change the speed of the hot/cold air through the Everspring unit.
9.6.1 Winter Mode
To switch from summer to winter mode, with the stove off (cold) but still connected to the mains:
a) Using the keys
navigate to the power menu
and press the key
;
b)
The "SUN" value will flash; change it with the key
until a value of between 1 and 5 is reached;
c) Press the key
to confirm your choice.
In this type of configuration, the boiler modulates the power according to the ambient temperature read by
the probe on the Everspring system (i.e. the boiler aims to maintain the desired temperature while minimising
consumption).
Where the user has enabled the "Eco-mode" function in the sub-menu [7] of the set-up menu
, the boiler,
instead of modulating, will switch off when the temperature set is reached and switches back on again when the
ambient temperature drops below the delta specified in the sub-menu [8] of the set-up menu
.
It s possible to set the desired temperature in ambient in the temperature menu
.
In sub-menu

of the set-up menu
it is possible to set the desired temperature of the supply water (it is advisable
to set this temperature at around 70°C).
9.6.2 Summer Mode (to be used if there is a cooling unit combined with Everspring)
To switch to summer mode, with the stove off (cold), but connected to the mains, simply:
a) Using the keys
navigate to the power menu
and press the key
;
b)
The current value will flash; change it with the key
until the "SUN" value is reached;
c) Press the key
to confirm your choice.
Set the desired summer temperature in ambient in the temperature menu
.
In this mode, the stove will activate the cooling unit when the ambient temperature exceeds the temperature set in
the temperature menu
and switches off the unit when the ambient temperature drops below the delta specified
in the sub
[8]
of the set-up menu
.
After setting summer mode, to activate its operation, press the power key
on the control panel.
