FUEL TYPE
The Ecomonoblocchos shall preferably be powered with
beech wood /well-seasoned birch. Each type of wood has
different characteristics that also affect the combustion
efficiency.
The use of conifers (pine-fir) is discouraged: they contain
high quantities of resinous substances that quickly clog
the flue.
It is prohibited to burn: waste, bark, wood treated with
paints, panels, coal, plastic materials; in these cases the
warranty of the appliance is voided.
IMPORTANT: continuous and prolonged use of wood
particularly rich of aromatic oils (e.g. eucalyptus, myrtle,
etc.) causes the sudden deterioration of the internal
components of the product.
The nominal yield declared in kW of the fireplace, is
obtained by burning a correct quantity of wood, being
careful not to overload the combustion chamber.
The ideal length of the wood is about 33 cm and must
be placed horizontally and not vertically.
The maximum humidity must be 25%.
The reference standard for the fuel is UNI/ISO 17225-1
“wood logs of forest origin”.
5 PREPARATION OF THE PLACE
OF INSTALLATION
5.1 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The responsibility of the works carried out in the area
where the fireplace will be installed falls, and remains,
on the user; the latter is also entrusted with the execution
of the inspections related to the installation solutions
proposed.
The user must comply with all local, national and
European safety regulations.
The appliance must be installed on floors with adequate
load bearing capacity.
Where the floor does not have sufficient load-bearing
capacity, it is recommended to use a load distribution
plate of adequate size.
The operations of assembly and disassembly of the
fireplace are reserved only to specialized technicians*.
It is recommended to make sure about their qualifications
and their actual capacity.
The person in charge of the installation, before starting
assembling or disassembling the machine, must comply
with the safety precautions required by law and in
particular to:
A) do not operate in adverse conditions;
B) must operate in perfect psychophysical conditions
and must check that the personal protective
equipment, are intact and functioning perfectly;
C) must wear safety gloves;
D) must wear safety shoes;
E)
must ensure that the area affected by the phases of
assembly and disassembly is free from obstacles.
5.2 DRY INSTALLATION
•
It is recommended to dry pre-install the fireplace in
order to verify the dimensions of the various components
and air intakes. The fire bed must be at the same level
as the floor of the cladding.
• It is necessary to align the front end part of the
appliance with the inner wired of the marble leaving a
gap of 5 mm in order to allow the free expansion of the
ECOMONOBLOCCO WT 78 (Fig. 3).
Palazzetti claddings are made respecting the technical
and safety requirements dictated by current regulations.
5.3 SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
The cladding of the fireplace, regardless of the material
used, must be self-supporting with respect to the block
and not be in contact with this.
Any cover in combustible material placed above the
generator must be shielded with diaphragms in non-
combustible insulating material.
In the case of floors made of combustible material, it is
necessary to interpose a flame retardant level between
the stove and the floor.
5.4 LEVELLING THE FIREPLACE
To adjust the final height of the ECOMONOBLOCCO
WT 78 (height fire plane of the cladding) it is sufficient
to act on the adjusting screws on the legs. Record the
pins up to bringing the stove at a distance in height from
the marble cover profile of 5 mm and a safety distance in
depth from the marble of 5 mm taking care that the base
of the furnace is levelled (
AB
) (Fig. 3).
The minimum height of the pins (A) with respect to the
ground must be minimum 70 mm (FIG. 4) in order to
allow the insertion of the combustion air pipe under the
fireplace.
