1.8 LEGAL WARRANTY
The user, in order to be able to take advantage of the
legal warranty, referred to in EEC Directive 1999/44/EC,
must scrupulously observe the prescriptions contained
in this manual and in particular:
•
always operate within the limits of use of the fireplace;
• always carry out a constant and diligent maintenance;
•
allow only people of proven ability, attitude and
adequately trained for the purpose to use the product.
Failure to comply with the requirements contained in
this manual will imply the immediate cancellation of the
warranty.
1.9 RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MANUFACTURER
The manufacturer declines all civil and criminal, direct or
indirect responsibility, due to:
• installation non-complying with the existing regulations
in the country and with the safety directives;
• failure to follow the instructions contained in this
manual;
•
installation by unqualified and non-trained personnel;
• non-comply use with the safety instructions;
•
modifications and repairs not authorised by the
manufacturer carried out on the machine;
•
use of non-genuine parts or that are not specific for
the model of the furnace;
• lack of maintenance;
• exceptional events.
1.10 CHARACTERISTICS OF THE USER
The user of the fireplace must be an adult and responsible
person having the technical knowledge needed for routine
maintenance of the fireplace components.
Make sure that children do not come close to the fireplace
while it is running.
1.11 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Palazzetti is able to solve any technical problem
concerning the use and the maintenance during the entire
life cycle of the machine.
The headquarters is at your disposal to direct you to the
nearest authorized service centre.
1.12 SPARE PARTS
Use only genuine spare parts.
Do not wait until the components are worn by use before
proceeding to their replacement.
Replace a worn component before its breaking favours
the prevention of accidents arising from accidents caused
by the sudden breakage of components which may cause
serious damages to persons and objects.
Perform periodic maintenance checks as indicated
in the chapter “Cleaning and Maintenance”.
1.13 IDENTIFICATION PLATE
The
serial number plate is placed under the furnace on
the right side of the fireplace (accessible by raising the
fire plane) and returns all the data relating to the product,
including the data of the manufacturer, the serial number
and the brand name
.
The serial number must always be indicated for any type
of request regarding the fireplace.
1.14 DELIVERY OF THE FIREPLACE
The fireplace is delivered perfectly packaged and fixed
to a wooden platform which allows handling it using fork
lift trucks and/or other means.
Inside of the fireplace there is the following material:
• manual for use, installation and maintenance;
•
product booklet;
•
bar code label;
•
installation booklet;
• protection glove.
