1.1 SYMBOLS
In this manual the points of major importance are
highlighted by the following symbols:
INDICATION
: Indications concerning the correct use of the
fireplace and the responsibility of the designated persons.
ATTENTION
: The point in which a note of particular
importance is expressed.
DANGER
: Expresses an important note of behaviour for
the prevention of injuries or damage to properties.
1.2 DESTINATION OF USE
The product, subject of this manual, is a fireplace, for
indoor domestic heating, with closed fire box and powered
exclusively by wood, with manual filling.
The appliance must be properly covered and used
exclusively with the door of the fire box closed.
The intended use referred to above and the envisaged
configurations of the fireplace are the only ones permitted
by the Manufacturer:
do not use the appliance
inconsistently with the instructions provided.
The destination of use indicated is valid only for appliances
in full structural, mechanical and engineering efficiency.
1.3 PURPOSE AND CONTENT OF THE MANUAL
Purpose
The purpose of this manual is to enable the user to take
the necessary measures and to provide all the human
and material resources necessary for its correct, safe and
lasting use.
Contents
This manual contains all the information necessary for the
installation, use and maintenance of the product.
The strict observance of what is described in it guarantees
a high level of safety and productivity of the fireplace.
1.4 PRESERVATION OF THE MANUAL
Preservation and consultation
This manual must be carefully stored and must be available
at all times for consultation, both on the part of the user that
the installation and maintenance personnel.
The instruction Use and Maintenance manual is
an integral part of the fireplace.
Deterioration or loss
If needed, request an additional copy from PALAZZETTI.
Sale of the fireplace
In the event of transferring the fireplace the user is obliged to
also deliver this manual to the new owner.
1.5 UPDATE OF THIS MANUAL
This manual reflects the state of the art when the fireplace
was placed on the market.
The appliances already on the market, with the relative
technical documentation, will not be considered by
PALAZZETTI as deficient or inadequate as a result of
any modifications, adaptations or the application of new
technologies on newly-marketed appliances.
1.6 GENERAL INFORMATION
Information
n case of exchange of information with the manufacturer of
the appliance, refer to the serial number and identification
data indicated on the product serial number plate.
Responsibility
With the delivery of this manual, PALAZZETTI declines all
responsibility, both civil and criminal, for accidents resulting
from partial or total non-compliance with the specifications
contained in it.
PALAZZETTI also declines all responsibility deriving from
improper use of the product or incorrect use by the user,
modifications and/or unauthorised repairs, use of spare
parts that are non-original or non-specific for this model.
Ordinary
Maintenance operations must be performed by qualified
personnel authorised to intervene on the fireplace model
to which this manual refers.
Responsibility for the works of installation
The responsibility of the works carried out for the installation
of the fireplace cannot be considered to be the responsibility
of PALAZZETTI. It is, and remains, the responsibility of
the installer, who is required to perform checks on the flue,
on the air outlet and to ascertain the correctness of the
proposed installation solutions. All the rules established by
the local, national and European legislation in force in the
state where it is installed must be respected.
Use
The use of the fireplace is subject, in addition to the
provisions contained in this manual, also to compliance with
all the safety standards required by the specific legislation
in force in the state where it is installed.
