INSTALLATION
Warnings prior to installation
To make sure the regular operation of the module is not affected, the
installation place must be protected against atmospheric agents. The
module cannot be installed outside.
The module was designed to be mounted on or built into a wall,
therefore it cannot be installed on platforms or on the floor. Make sure
that all module components remained intact during transportation and
handling and that they are not deteriorated. In case of visible product
deteriorations, do not install it.
CAUTION
When drilling holes into the wall pay attention not to damage the
electrical cables or the pre-existing pipes.
Wall mounting
After finding a suitable wall, mark the position of the holes on it. Drill
holes into the wall and introduce the supplied plugs paying attention
not to tighten the screws completely. Hang the module on the wall,
use a spirit level to check its alignment and then tighten the screws
completely to stabilise the entire assembly.
If the plugs provided are not appropriate for the type of wall you chose,
replace them using some expansion plugs that match the wall type
and the weight of the module.
Before proceeding with the hydraulic and electrical connections
make sure the entire module leans perfectly to the wall and that it is
properly levelled (horizontally and vertically). Otherwise proceed with
the necessary adjustments, using the fastening screws.
Recessed device
If you want to place the device inside the wall you have to make sure
the wall is resistant and thick enough to contain the module.
First open the fastening clamps on the module. Use a gripper to cut
the seal slats of the clamps and open them by turning them outwards.
Make a space inside the wall about 2 cm bigger than the external size
of the module. Fix it to the wall by throwing plaster or another suitable
compound directly on the clamps. Let the compound dry, adjusting
the module’s position using a spirit lever. Proceed with the aesthetic
finishings of the wall, according to your own desire.
Electrical connection
The module is supplied by default with a built-in control unit.
The standard electrical components are made by the module
manufacturer. Other components/additional functions connections
might be necessary, based on your specific configuration.
In this case, for warnings and wiring diagrams, refer to section “control
unit instructions handbook”.
In order to proceed with the installation and maintenance operations
safely, connect the module to the electrical network using a bipolar
switch.
If the length of the supply cable provided by us for the standard
configuration is not enough, replace it with another one having similar
features. Joining the supply cable is forbidden both inside and outside
the module.
CAUTION
The additional connections must be made by authorised, expert staff,
respecting the provided indications.
