Select the
Beam From
pick list and select whether the application you want to beam is
located on your Treo device or on an expansion card.
5.
Select the application you want to transfer, and then select
Beam
.
6.
When the
Beam Status
dialog box appears, point the IR port on your Treo device
directly at the IR port of the receiving device.
7.
Wait for the
Beam Status
dialog box to indicate that the transfer is complete before
you continue using your Treo device.
Receiving Beamed Information
1.
Turn on your screen.
2.
Select the beam command on the transmitting device.
3.
Point the IR port on your Treo device directly at the IR port of the transmitting device
to open the
Beam Status
dialog box.
4.
When the
Beam Status
dialog box appears, select a category or expansion card. (If you
don’t select a category, the item goes into the Unfiled category.)
5.
Select
Yes
to receive the information or
No
to refuse it.
Note:

transferring copies of an application to a third party. It is your
responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the legal right to provide
a copy to the third party and to honor any restrictions imposed by the
software licensors.
