Update
to
Firewalls
when
Panorama
is
not
Internet
‐
connected
Step
1
Upgrade
the
software
and
content
versions
on
the
Panorama
management
server.
The
software
version
must
be
the
same
as
or
higher
than
the
version
you
will
install
on
the
firewalls.
The
content
versions
must
be
the
same
as
or
lower
than
the
versions
you
will
install
on
the
firewalls.
For
important
software
and
content
compatibility
details,
see
.
You
must
upgrade
Panorama
and
then
Log
Collectors
before
upgrading
firewalls.

.
Step
2
Save
a
backup
of
the
current
configuration
file
of
each
firewall
for
which
you
will
upgrade
software.
You
can
use
this
backup
to
restore
the
configuration
if
you
have
problems
with
the
upgrade.
Although
the
firewall
automatically
creates
a
configuration
backup,
the
best
practice
is
to
create
and
externally
store
a
backup
before
upgrading.

Log

to

select
Panorama > Setup >

Name
of
the
