IMPORTANT
- Do not wind the cable around the curling tong when it is still hot.
- Some parts of the curling tongs heat up during use, and you should therefore avoid the hot curling tong
coming into contact with your skin (particularly your face and the back of your neck).
- Also try not to put this product on hot surfaces.
- Do not put this product away while it is still hot or plug it into the socket. Unplug the appliance and leave
it to cool down before putting it away.
WARNING
- Do not leave the appliance plugged in when you are not going to use it or are going out.
- Do not use in atmospheres were aerosols (sprays) are being used.
- Only use this appliance for what it has been designed for, according to the descriptions in this manual.
- Do not put any objects in the openings of the appliance.
- Do not put the plugged in or still hot appliance on padded surfaces, surfaces that do not withstand
heat (plastics, vinyl fabrics, etc.) or on inflammable surfaces, as they could be damaged or cause
accidents.
- Always observe safety regulations during the use of the appliance.
- The accessories will heat up when the appliance is plugged in. Handle them with care.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Plug the curling tongs into the plug pressing the on/off switch (1).
- Your hair should be dry or, at least, almost dry.
- Select the temperature you need (min. 120 ºC - max. 200 ºC) and wait for a few minutes until it reaches
the required temperature.
- Separate fine locks of hair that you want to curl, brushing your hair first to untangle it.
- Roll the end of the lock of hair around the curling tong tube using your hand as a guide and, then, turn the
tube towards the head like a roller. Keep it like that for 10 to 20 seconds and, then, gently remove it.
- This product may be used with natural, bleached or died hair.
- Natural or died hair needs to be wound around the curling tong from 10 to 20 seconds to get good
results. However, if your hair is thick you may need a few seconds more.
- In practice, it will be your experience that lets you get the best results depending on your type of hair.
- These curling tongs may be used with wigs made out of natural hair. However, it should not be used on
artificial hair or wigs, as they could melt at the temperature reached by the curling tong.
- Do not use on hair that has hair spray or hair gel, as these substances could get stuck to the tube and
reduce its efficacy.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Electric products should not be thrown away with domestic rubbish. This appliance should be taken to a
local recycling centre for safe treatment.

- Unplug the appliance when you are not using it.
- Do not put this product anywhere it might be able to fall into a container with liquid (baths, kitchen sinks,
wash basins, etc.).
- Do not submerge it in water or other liquids.
- If the appliance were to accidentally fall into any liquid, unplug it immediately. Never attempt to pick it
up while it is submerged and connected to the mains.
- Do not use this appliance in the bathroom if it is full of steam or if the walls and/or floor are wet.
- Never use an electrical appliance that has fallen into any liquid that has cracks on the outer casing
or in any of its accessories or that has a damaged power cord. If the cord is connected to the mains,
disconnect it immediately. It is damaged in any way it should only be replaced by specialised personnel.
Incorrect repairs may represent risks for the user.
- Keep the appliance’s power cord away from hot surfaces.
- Avoid touching skin, especially your face, ears and back of the neck with the hot parts of the
appliance.
- Do not put the plugged in or still hot appliance on padded surfaces, surfaces that do not withstand

- Do not hold the appliance using its power cord or unplug it by pulling this cord out.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, authorised technical service or
qualified engineer to prevent dangerous situations.
- Adults or children must not operate this appliance without help or supervision if they are physically,
sensorially or mentally incapable of doing so safely. Children should be watched to make sure that they
do not play with this product.
- Keep it away from water. Do not allow the appliance to get wet, and never use it in the bath. Do not
leave it on wet surfaces. Do not submerge it in any liquid or sprinkle it with any liquid. Do not use it with
wet or damp hands, or bare foot, nor near to funning water or containers with water. Do not rest the hot
or running appliance on any heat-sensitive surface.
- It should only be used indoors.
- For your safety, this appliance has double insulation.
- If you want to clean the appliance, first unplug it from the socket. Use a damp cloth to clean it and
then dry it well. This will help to conserve the appliance’s original finish. You should not use abrasive
cleaners.
- Do not use chemical cleaning products to clean it.
- Do not put this product away in damp atmospheres.
- As an extra safety measure, we recommend installing a circuit breaker with a cut-off limit that does not
exceed 30 mA. Ask your electrician about this.
- Check that local voltage and the voltage indicated on the appliance coincide.
- Go to an authorised technical service if the appliance is damaged.
- This appliance has a device that cuts power supply if the temperature exceeds the established level.
- Only use the appliance for the indicated purposes, do not modify it or its accessories, unless they have
been recommended by the manufacturer.
- When you use it in the bathroom, unplug it after use. Proximity to water may represent a risk even when
the tongs are turned off but still unplugged.
