ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Check that the voltage specified on the appliance matches your home’s mains voltage. If the wall sockets do not match the
appliance’s plug, they must be changed for sockets having the right format.
Important: When dismantling the wall socket, be very careful with the stripped wire ends.
Caution: This appliance must be plugged into a socket fitted with an earth connection.
DIRECTIONS
1.- When using your toaster for the first time, toast without bread. This will preheat the new heating elements and eliminate
any dust that may have settled during storage.
2.- Select the desired browning setting with the control knob (7), taking into account the bread’s dampness and thickness.
For best results, make sure that the bread is of uniform thickness, freshness and size. Remember that dry bread toasts
quicker than damp bread and that thin bread toasts quicker than thick bread.
3.- Place the bread in the slots and push the lever (8) down until it locks. The light beside the “Cancel” button turns on.
Note: The lever will not stay down if the toaster is not plugged into the mains.
4.- When the selected browning level has been reached, the lever will automatically spring up, lifting the bread out of the
slots and turning off the heating elements. If the bread is stuck in the toaster, unplug from the mains and wait until it has
cooled before unjamming the bread.
When you are not using the toaster, turn it off by unplugging it from the mains socket. Do not coil the power cord around
the toaster during or after use; use the cord storage provided in the appliance’s base.
