4:2:2 Digital Quality and meets the Need in All Fields
Light Weight, Low Power Consumption
In ready-to-shoot condition - with lens, 1.5” viewfinder,
cassette and battery pack in place - the AJ-SDC915
weighs only 14.5 lbs. It offers low power consumption,
too, using 28 W or less when recording.
Digital Signal Processing
Digital circuitry delivers superior picture quality and
assures reliable results regardless of temperature
changes, aging, or vibration. Operation is simple and
maintenance is minimal. The camera is easy to set up and
adjust, even in the field.
Setup File on PCMCIA Memory Card
The camera’s setup file can be saved onto an IC card
(PCMCIA memory card). Creating and saving a variety of
files makes it quick and easy to adapt the AJ-SDC915 to
different shooting conditions.
“Picture Link” for Non-Linear Editing
Versatility
Add an optional board and memory card, and the
AJ-SDC915’s Picture Link function improves editing ease
when used with the NewsBYTE series of DVCPRO non-
linear editors. This function writes data onto the tape and
allows the operator to label each recorded scene with any
of three marks. During editing, the operator can then, for
example, automatically upload only scenes marked “OK.”
Synchro Scan Electronic Shutter
The electronic shutter (1/100, 1/120, 1/250, 1/500,
1/1000, 1/2000 sec) features a synchro scan capability
(60.8 to 250 Hz) to reduce flicker when shooting CRT
displays.
One ND/CC Filter Wheel
This simply designed, four-position (3200K,
5600K+1/8ND, 5600K, 5600K+1/64ND) optical filter
allows quick, on-location adjustment to the light source.
White and Black Balance levels are preset and you may
store two manually set values in memory for each filter
position.
Compatible with Anton/Bauer
Digital Battery
The AJ-SDC915 is equipped with a gold mount plate for
mounting an Anton/Bauer digital battery system. When
the digital battery is in use, the remaining power is
displayed in real time on the EVF. When using an
Anton/Bauer Ultra Light, the lighting on/off and recording
start/stop can be linked together.
