Useful recording and shooting functions (continued)
Using the REPEAT REC function
Use an SD Memory Card with at least 16 GB of
memory. Clips approximately 90 minutes long are
recorded in succession.
• Depending on the capacity of the card, either
four or eight clips can be recorded on a single SD
Memory Card.
• When four (or eight) clips have been recorded,
the oldest clip is deleted when a new clip is
recorded.
• When using the REPEAT REC function, the
recording format switches automatically to HE
mode.
• Make sure to format the SD Memory Card with
the portable recorder before using the REPEAT
REC function.
• The REPEAT REC function cannot be set when
the unit is running on battery power. To use this
function, connect the unit to the AC adapter.
• The REPEAT REC function operates in SDI
mode or CAM mode only.

Select [REPEAT REC MODE]
→
[ON]
on the [RECORDING SETUP] setup menu.
“R-PAUSE” is displayed on the screen.
• If a recording format other than HE mode
is selected in [REC FORMAT] on the
[RECORDING SETUP] setup menu, the
setting changes to HE mode automatically.
• In CAM mode, if [PREREC MODE] is set
to [ON] on the [RECORDING SETUP]
setup menu, the setting changes to [OFF]
automatically.
• In SDI mode, if [AUTOREC MODE] is
set to a setting other than [OFF] on the
[RECORDING SETUP] setup menu, the
setting changes to [OFF] automatically.
• To cancel the REPEAT REC function, either
switch power off or select [OFF] for [REPEAT
REC MODE].
• After the REPEAT REC function is canceled,
the recording format, the PREREC MODE,
and AUTOREC MODE settings do not return
to their settings before REPEAT REC was
used. The recording mode is set to HE
mode, PREREC MODE is set to OFF, and
AUTOREC MODE is set to OFF.
