PCM Down Conversion
Check the sampling frequencies supported
by the coaxial input of the connected device.
If the device does not support certain
sampling frequencies, set the appropriate
frequency setting.
• On ( 48 kHz ):
The maximum sampling frequency of
signals is limited to 48 kHz.
(Choose if the connected device does not
support signals with a sampling frequency
of 96 kHz or 192 kHz.)
• On ( 96 kHz ):
The maximum sampling frequency of
signals is limited to 96 kHz.
(Choose if the connected device does not
support signals with a sampling frequency
of 192 kHz.)
• Off:
Signals are output as 192 kHz.

Select the audio signal to output.
• Select “PCM” when the connected
equipment cannot decode the respective
audio format.
• Not making the proper settings may result in
noise.
System Volume Adjustment
If the volume of a programme being watched
through this unit is different than the volume
of a programme being watched directly on the
TV, the gap may be reduced by switching this
setting to Mode 1 or Mode 2. (This function
works only while you are watching a
programme or playing back a programme
recorded in DR mode with this unit.)
BD-Video Secondary Audio
Turn on/off the clicking sound on the menu
and audio with secondary video.

Connect this unit to an AV amplifier or similar device that
supports it with an HDMI cable, and select the following
settings:
- Dolby D / Dolby D + / Dolby TrueHD: “Bitstream”
- DTS / DTS-HD: “Bitstream”
- BD-Video Secondary Audio: “Off”

HDMI Output Settings of Music Playback
Select the HDMI output settings.
• If “Sound Quality Priority” is selected, the audio
noise is minimised during music playback by
automatically switching the video output to
1080i.
Settings for High Clarity Sound
This function is effective when “High Clarity
Sound” (

59) is set to “On (Video Off)” or “On
(Video On)”.

select.
